Well it has been over a year since I have updated "The Love Family" Blog, I guess I better get started! I will try to update the blog more often, maybe every couple of months or so.
As many of you know, we have a new addition, I guess he really isn't new anymore, but a 6-month-old infant! Let's just say this week has been totally awesome. We celebrated our 9-year Anniversary on the 14th and Mason slept till 7 a.m. for the first time that very day! Levi rolled over that morning and said, "That's the best anniversary present you have ever given me!" So needless to say, we are now "sleeping through the night" and we are completely different people. We actually made it to church on time this morning! A first in I don't know how long.
Mason has ventured over to solid foods! And let me tell you, that boy can eat! He eats two 4oz jars a day! His favorites are carrots and pears. He's not a fan of bananas or apples. He started rolling over about 3 weeks ago and now he can get to what he wants! He also has learned to say "Mama" and "Dada".
Well Trey is growing up fast. I didn't realize how good we had it until Mason came along! Trey is very self-sufficient! He loves getting diapers, entertaining his brother and helping give his brother a bath. The latter is his favorite! Trey has been a very busy boy this summer. He had Preschool Mini Day Camp at our church, Teeball, swim lessons and Vacation Bible School. In his spare time he likes to meet his friends at the pool or chill out reading books and doing puzzles (like his Mommy)! He also likes to surf the web for boats with his Daddy.
Levi is spending most of his spare time out at the winery lately. He's working very hard helping his parents get ready for the Grand Opening next month. He's out there once a week either making wine, bottling wine, labeling wine or any other things that need to be done. He is now teaching a Sunday School class for married couples with Older Preschool/Younger Elementary kids. He does a great job! I"m not biased, honest! After a hard's day work, he comes home and spends the evening with Mason, to give me a much needed break. What a great husband!
I can't believe the summer is mostly flown by and next month we will return to our normal schedules of preschool and work! :(
I have to say everyone that said, "Oh, it's easier going from 1 to 2 kids, than it was going from none to 1" were so very WRONG! I can officially call myself a "Mommy"! Life with two boys keeps you on your toes!
Until next time....
